DreamN2Action is a public
relations practice founded by Connie
Hernandez, who has extensive experience in strategically and creatively marketing
messages to diverse publics including multi-cultural groups in English,
Spanish and French.
She offers a rare insight
to strategic community relations as she has worked on social and cause-related
marketing activities with volunteers, top private companies, non-profit
organizations that include, United Way, American Red Cross, Goodwill Industries
and Catholic Charities, among many others. Hernandez started a media relations
program that helped raise visibility and positive awareness of United Way
in the English and Spanish language markets of Miami-Dade County. Her work

events such as the largest wine and food event in Florida, The Biltmore
Great South Florida Wine Festival. inaugural gala cruises aboard Royal
Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines to a Year of the Tiger
Chinese New Year Gala and an annual Mayor’s Ball hosted by Miami-Dade’s
Mayor Alex Penelas;

seminars, tours and roundtable discussions for a Latin American journalist
program funded by United States Agency of International Development (USAID);

and generating media attention surrounding issues on a Community Report
Card that revealed that children are in trouble in Miami-Dade County;

Media blitz on a hurricane-relief
benefit concert, "Dando una Mano con Amor," featuring Latin Superstars
from all over the world;

Cuban refugees to raise needed funds to help them resettle in South Florida
and publicizing the efforts of the Guantanamo Refugee Assistance Project
(GRASP);

Publicizing a children’s
initiative Success By 6, that featured the difference corporations

Committee of the WAGES Coalition where she produced and marketed a "From
Welfare to Work!" video to help businesses understand the importance
of hiring former welfare recipients to make welfare reform work in the
community.
